On Saturday, January 27, 2024, Commander Halloran had the pleasure to honor outgoing chief Justin Derevyanic, of the Moonachie Volunteer Fire Department, after nine years as chief. Justin is a career firefighter. He holds the rank of captain in the Hackensack Fire Department.

Chief Drevyanic was awarded the General Kearny Camp Certificate for meritorious Service to his community.
